LIFE IS A JOURNEY, NOT A DESTINATION
“I just need to start writing…”
That is what I told myself this morning after thinking about the many different possible ways to go about this project. So here I go.
Have you ever noticed, when you have a day off during the week (like on a Friday), that the entire week drags on as if that day off will never arrive? One would imagine that a four day work week would be experientially faster then the regular five day work week. But this rarely seems the case.
Is it Einstein’s fault for pointing out how Time is relative? Or are we programed to experience a kind of suffering until we are able to enjoy the extra liberty we desire?
I will make it through this week. Four days only (& the first day is half done). Then I will be camping this weekend. The wait will be worth the adventure. I must be a little more Buddhist. I must acknowledge that I may suffer this week & move on. Raise myself above such simple distractions & enjoy the moment – no matter what may be happening.
I hope you can do the same.
Blessed Be.
Do you remember, in Back To The Future 2 where Marty McFly rides that hoverboard? Remember how you thought: how cool is that? And you know how you feel every time you watch a sci-fi movie & see vehicles & other mundane items hovering over the ground. I always think: man, that would be just awesome if we could develop that sort of technology.
Well guess what: We Have The Technology.
My best friend e-mailed me a link to an American company that has been developing this technology. I watched some videos & was blown away. Yes, I know this technology is in its infancy. But the mere fact that a working prototype hoverboard has been developed is amazing. And this company, Hendo, wants people to help them develop the concept further. Watch this video & see what I mean:
Cool, eh?

There is much to be said about Nikola Tesla. That he was a man ahead of his time is obvious. In fact, one could argue that his ideas are even ahead of our own times. That there are many who believe that a great conspiracy surrounds his works – supposed stories of the US government confiscating many of his works & writings – is certainly the case. Many believe such stories – whether these stories are True or not. I am not about to make a judgement on this here.
However, what I am going to offer today is some inspired reading of one of Tesla’s works. Originally published in the Century Illustrated Magazine in June of 1900, this article delves into the topic of energy & human potential. It is a fascinating look at how Tesla’s mind worked & a great introduction to some of his ideas regarding energy, vibration & human potential. You can read the entire article at the following link: The Problem Of Increasing Human Energy
Wild stuff, eh? Well, share your thoughts & leave me a comment below. Tell me what you think of Tesla, his ideas & any crazy ideas about energy you might have. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
